PS Vita Battery Replacement

Replacement of the internal battery for a Vita that won't hold a charge, drains quickly, or only runs while plugged in.

The Vita's battery is internal and adhesive-mounted, so this is a teardown rather than a cover-off swap. If yours has swollen, stop using the console and send it in — a swelling battery presses on the screen and gets worse with use.

Not sure this is the problem? Symptoms like this can have more than one cause. If you're unsure, order a Diagnostic instead — we'll identify the fault and credit the fee toward whatever repair is needed.
